Monday, I had a fairly average Monday, most of you will know that it is my 'meday', so my outfit was not blog worthy, very slouchy and casual and definitely not Chic! I did attend bootcamp in the evening though, so here is an example of what I wear. Nice and easy, usually black as it's slimming and gym clothes are not very forgiving. It's like it wants to show the trainer what you've really been doing in between visits! Outfit: Top- Nike (similar here and in the sale) I like this because it is a long top and therefore, you can ruffle it up in any area that may be slightly bulging... to put it nicely! Sports bra- Shock Absorber, I always wear these, for me they are the best and really hold everything in place Running Tights- Adidas These support me well and they also support breast cancer! I love these and I think you will too! I can't find these exact ones, but they have a newer version here. |
Tuesday, I was in the shoe boutique all day, I wore my ultimate LBD that you can style so many different ways with almost anything! I love it so much that I also bought it in burgundy, so between the two, you can wear them to pretty much anything. I decided to go more wintery and styled it with a faux fur gilet and some ankle boots from the boutique. It is so comfortable, and easy and I think every girl should have something like this in their wardrobe! Outfit: Dress- Topshop I found one almost identical in Topshop at the moment, the only difference is that it has two little side splits and the arms are slightly shorter Gilet- Topshop They have a slightly shaggier version in Topshop currently Boots- Heels Boutique in Sunningdale They currently have a sale on for 15% off, ONE week only, so if you fancy a little midweek treat, you need to get yourself down there! |
Wednesday, I was at the college ready to do some marking, it was actually really nice because everyone was on half term and I ended up getting so much done! I went fairly smart and decided on different shades of beige, which I know is quite boring! I went through a 'camel' stage last year, where everything I bought seemed to be a different shade of beige! So if you ever need something in that colour, just let me know as I will probably have it! So as I was saying, I decided to make use of all this beige and throw this outfit together. I also went for coffee with an old friend after work, so this outfit kept me nice and snug on the walk into Guildford. Outfit: Cashmere Poncho- Evie Loves Toast Boutique in Cobham Turtle neck- H&M (similar) Trousers- Miss Selfridge (cropped version of camel) |
Thursday, I was marking again, this time I went for pastel tones as I always love a bit of pastel with fashion. This jumper has featured on the blog before and I just love it, it is so so warm and goes with most things. These jumpers are all coming back in now, ready for Winter and I have fallen in love with this cosy looking one from New Look! I also met with a friend after work, we were meant to go for a late lunch but ended up vegging out at my house until dinnertime! Outfit: Jumper- Vila from ASOS (similar here) Trousers- Topshop Handbag- Mulberry Shoes- ASOS Bracelet- Pandora |
Friday, this was my favourite day of the week and my favourite outfit of the week! This isn't a great picture of the jumper but I have blogged about it previously, so if you want a better look- click here. I took the day off and I took a trip up to London. I needed to go to London for two very good reasons, but I will dedicate my next blog to my glorious Friday- so you'll just have to wait and see what I got up to! I went for these gorgeous printed trousers that I actually saw Amanda Holden wearing and if you read my last blog, these are the ones I ran around Kingston like a mad women for! They are so different and I love them! Zara is such great value for money and these certainly got noticed and had the desired effect! Outfit: Jumper- Betty and Claude (still have white version available in store) Trousers- Zara Backpack- Longchamp |
Saturday, I worked at the fashion boutique and once again I was feeling very wintery, so I wore a red tartan skirt with this snug black turtleneck teamed with thick black tights and some loafers. I love this skirt, it is so comfortable and comes out every Christmas time! I am not kidding when I say... I have this skirt in 12 colours!! It is just so easy and you know how much I love a midi-skirt and they are constantly bringing out new colours to tempt me with! You can't see in this picture but it is also high-waisted and elasticated, so even if you are having a "fat day", you'll never have to worry about getting that dreaded zip up! Outfit: Turtleneck- Betty and Claude (comes also in grey and marine) Skirt- Topshop (now I have just gone on to their website to link it for you and found this one I want!) Tights- M&S Loafers- Betty and Claude |
Sunday, if you read my last blog you will know all about what I got up to and if you didn't you can read all about it here. You can also get all the links there too! Outfit: Fur headband- Nursey's sheepskin (Great value for money) Scarf- Pashmina from Spain Coat- Barbour Jeans- Great Plains, from Betty and Claude Boots- Hunters I'm back to the grind now! I hope you are all having a good week so far and I look forward to sharing my exciting day in London with you all on the next blog! Love Life, Emma xxx |
