Happy Sunday afternoon, my favourite time of the week!
This weekend for me has been very family orientated, seeing lots of family and friends. Yesterday we had our annual BBPS Golf Tournament (I am not a golf person, but it's great fun) we always go for dinner after, so working out the perfect outfit can prove a challenge.
You need to be fairly practical, but I only entered the putting competition, so not too practical and then you need to also look nice for dinner. I decided to go for a midi dress from Marks and Spencer's teamed with my favourite asos flats. Yesterday, the weather was quite unpredictable, so I decided to pack my wrap that I previously blogged about! It got chilly so my wrap came in handy.
After an intense putting match, it was down to me and.. a nine year old, and unfortunately for me.. he won!
Last year, I also went for a navy choice for our championship! One of my favourite outfits, which is both practical and sophisticated. I bought this blazer in the sale from the designer Henry Holland, who stocks his clothes in Debenhams. The material is beautiful and it fits really nicely. I teamed this outfit with an L.K.Bennett top (which I was kindly given) and some Topshop cigarette trousers.
As I mentioned this outfit was last years, so it won't still be available to buy.
I just wanted to give some examples of an outfit that can be used for dinner or smart outdoors in August.
Love life,
Emma xxx
