I want to start this blog by saying, if you are my boyfriend.. Please stop reading now!
Yesterday, I paid another little visit to Cobham. It is just delightful there!! We started by going for some lunch at Carluccio's, my Popsy had very kindly left mum and I some money to go for lunch, we were meant to spend it in Harrods for lunch but we just couldn't be bothered with the train!
Lunch was lovely and we sat in there for ages chatting away like a bunch teenagers- well sometimes they are the best kind of chats!
Evie loves toast was our next stop, I like it in there because, like a few of the shops on Cobham, they only buy a couple of pieces in so that they are unique and you don't see others in the same piece as you. I like this idea a lot. I found THE piece, I just couldn't put it down, I actually spotted it before lunch and text pops to see if it would be a suitable Christmas present.. I then went for lunch and sat there in suspense for the text that either approved or condemned the idea!
Luckily, I am a very lucky girl as daddy loved it and agreed to get it as a Christmas present for me. I'll post a picture below, it's so gorgeous!
The four of us ladies were in our element! We all rallied round the shop and picked up our goodies and scurried off to the changing rooms (very nice changing rooms!) I just had to give in to temptation, I'm meant to be being really good this month, Christmas is coming and for me that is all about giving to others.. I don't know what happened but next thing I knew I was buying a top, yes just a plain top.. For £200!!!! Oh my goodness, what am I doing, I can definitely not afford this this month!!! The problem was, this was another shop that just orders in a couple of each item and then doesn't buy them in again. This top was the last one.. and it was in my size.. If I didn't buy it.. Well it just isn't worth thinking about! This was just meant to be!
Mum has just spent a ridiculous amount on a pair of LEGGINGS and then the only sensible purchase was done by our friend, who bought the most elegant and sophisticated black dress, which was actually less than the leggings and my ridiculous top! The dress was just stunning, plain and fitted that went past the knee and had a zip that went right up the entire back! It was spectacular and she looked stunning in it!
I wore:
Plain black midi dress- Topshop
Black tights- Topshop
Jacket- LK Bennett
Pearl necklace- Swarovski
Shoes- ASOS
Foundation- Elizabeth Arden
Lip Liner- Soar by MAC
Lipstick- Blanket by MAC
Eye Liner- HD Brow Palette
Now time for some Bonfire fun, I just wore some plain black jeans, a baggy topshop black jumper and teamed it with my fluffy black FitFlop boots (the ones I blogged about before, that my boyfriend hates). We stood round the big bonfire, watched the fireworks, are hot dogs and then had toasted banana's. I had a lovely evening spent with family and my two gorgeous nieces!
Hope you're all having a lovely Sunday- I'm still in bed!!
Love Life,
Emma xxx
