Blog 4 in my make-up bag.
Today I am going to talk about phase 2 of my bronzing, in my last blog I was blogging about my MAC Bronzer, in this one I am talking about my beauty must have- the shimmer brick!
Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick: £32.50
Bobbi Brown, for me personally is a more upper class version of MAC, both fabulous products but I think Bobbi Brown suits an older more sophisticated look. MAC create beautiful colours, which look great for hitting the town, but I'd always look to Bobbi Brown if you are going for lunch (let's face it, you wouldn't wear pink glitter for afternoon tea at The Savoy darling!).
The reason that I love this product so much, is because it doubles up as not only my bronzing blusher, but also a great eyeshadow palette. I mainly use this product on my cheekbones and it creates a stunning natural glow, which is subtle but effective.
When I use it as an eyeshadow, I use the darker colours on the outer corner of my eyelid and get lighter as I work inwards. The white shimmer is also great for highlighting, I will quite often use it as a highlighter and on the inner corner of my eye. I find that this palette creates a stunning flawless glow that opens up the eyes and highlights your cheekbones. I think this product is irreplaceable and haven't found a product to even come close to doing what this product does for me.
I also love this product on holiday, once you have your natural tan it enhances it, and next to the candlelit dinner table on the beach it looks simply stunning!
I usually top up my Bobbi Brown fix at the airport and it comes with it's face blender brush, which is really soft and works beautifully with this product.
This product comes in different varieties of colour, I currently use the 'bronze' shade, which is out of stock on their website, however you can find it at House of Fraser.
Look out for my next beauty blog on highlighting products.
Love life,
Emma xxx
