Blog 5 in my make-up bag.
Today is all about highlighting!!
We use highlighter to enhance our features and make them stand out. We use shading to disguise, for example, if I had a massive chin, I would not want to highlight that, I would want to shade it- simple!
Marks & Spencer Daly Face Glow: £9.50
Now.. Unfortunately, M&S don't sell this product anymore, but I have found it online, if you follow the link above and there are lots of similar cream highlighters around.
This product was created by Tess Daly for M&S (so no, there isn't a spelling mistake in the title 😉)
I'm obsessed- I got given it as a stocking filler one year and didn't use it for ages, now I can't live without it in my daily make-up routine.
I use this product underneath my brows, on my Cupid's bow (In photo below) and occasionally on my cheeks- when I'm not using my shimmer brick!
I have been using this product almost everyday for 4 years and I still have so much left, you don't need much and it lasts ages!
I apply this using my fingertips, for me, I don't think using a brush for a product like this works very well. When applying it on my cheeks and Cupid's bow, I only dab it on the desired area, otherwise it can look too overpowering.
Here are a few alternatives to a cream highlighter:
Keep an eye out for my next beauty blog all about brows!!
