Sorry it's been a little while guys! I've been getting into the Christmas spirit and haven't had chance to let you all know about it!!
Last time I blogged was all about the Black Friday sales and I have done lots of shopping since then! You'll be pleased to know that mainly for other people!
So, last weekend I took a trip upto London to Harrods 10% off weekend. This was RAMMED! It was the first time that I have not enjoyed myself in that treasure cave. We started the day fairly civilised. Stopped off at 'The Real Food Festival' and we were planning on going somewhere nice for breakfast.. But.. We got too tempted by the freshly made cookies in the market.
After stuffing our faces until we felt pretty sick, we headed to the shops. Starting on Bond Street and venturing to Picadilly, Oxford Street and Knightbridge.
Everywhere looked so magical and it really got us into the Christmas spirit.
Shirt- Musto
Jeans- Mint Velvet
Boots- River Island
Leather Jacket- Topshop
Bag- Mulberry
Talking of leather jackets- All Saints have just emailed me with 20% off leather jackets!!
Now this comfortable/casual look was all good and well, until we decided to stop for lunch. I've heard great things about 'Bob, Bob Ricard' and I wanted to press that Champagne button!! However, I was not anticipating just how lavish this place was- it was incredible and for once in my life.. I felt incredibly under-dressed.
The service, the decor, the food, everything was exceptional!
I wasn't overly hungry, so I had this gorgeous crab and avocado salad. I have planned a trip their for my birthday in March and I am already eyeing up the chicken, mushroom and champagne pie! They also have the most incredible pudding that looks like a gold bauble and then they pour hot chocolate over the top and it melts to reveal the actual pudding! How amazing!! You seriously need to check this place out!
We nipped off after lunch to Harrods, like I mentioned earlier, it was so busy that we pretty much walked in and then back out again. The toy department was like a kids play area, they were all so excited which was cute to see.. But not if you're on a shopping mission!
After a long day in London, we picked up a nice hot chocolate and got a busy train home.
Now it's time to decorate the tree! Christmas music on full and gold and red sparkles galore = this beauty
So I've caught you up on last weeks antics, I will be posting this weekends later on today.. Ohhh get me, two in one day!
Love Life,
Emma xxx
