Sometimes there is nothing better than a good bubble bath, whether you have had a long day at work, a tough workout, you are in need of some me time or you just fancy a good scrub.. The bubble bath is the best place to be.
Here are my 2 ultimate bath essentials for a relaxing bathing experience:
- Oriental opulence bubble heaven from Champneys- this is good for the ultimate bubble bath and with it's silk proteins, it also makes your skin feel gorgeous afterwards. The one I use uses Ylang Ylang and Patchouli, which helps soften the skin and restore tranquility (doesn't it just make you want to indulge in a hot bath now?) It is also good value for money. £12 per 400ml
- Bath oil by Jo Malone- this is another one of my favourites as I am addicted to Jo Malone and all of their flavoursome scents! Obviously the oil doesn't create your big bubble bath but it does create the same feeling. The aromas fill my bathroom with the most luxurious scents and not to mention what the oil is doing for your body. I am currently using the Nutmeg and Ginger fragrance, which is from their 'spicy' smells- normally not a favourite of mine but I was bought it as a present and love it! Jo Malone is more of a luxury product so it is more expensive than other options, I think it's worth it though! £40 per 250ml
As a beauty therapist I also look at the products effects on the skin and I like to know what I am putting onto my skin, as Champneys is a well known spa and I have used their products before, I trust them and I really rate them. Jo Malone I adore for their use of essential oils and as I use aromatherapy oils in my job I think it's good to understand the benefits that they can have on you because some of them are truly amazing!
These are two of my favourite bath products that create different effects in your tub, they are good for different budgets and they work well for me!
Go and take a long soak and put on the keep calm and relax album and your stress will be floating away in no time!
Love life,
Emma xxx
