Hope you all had a lovely weekend- they really do go too quickly!
This weekend I had so much fun at the races. I have been known to have a bit of a moan about races and I’m still not won over.. especially as I am so unlucky when it comes to betting. This kind of racing isn’t too bad because there are no jumps so the horses don’t usually get injured, certainly compared to something like the Grand National.
What do you wear to such an event?
The races have certainly become a little bit.. err.. lacking class should I say! Don’t’ get me wrong, there were some amazing outfits but there were also some, which were absolutely horrendous! I mean do some of these people look in the mirror before they leave the house?
Anyway, I don’t want to dwell on the unfortunately styled but focus on some stunning looks.
My best dressed was this girl who was in a gorgeous white midi-dress that was structured at the top and then flared out at the bottom, she was in So Kate black patent shoes and the popular classic Chanel flap bag. Her hair was pristine and styled similarly to the one below. This young lady also had a lovely black fascinator.
Obviously my ladies were also immaculately turned out! Laura: Dress- LK Bennett Shoes- Christian Louboutin Hat- Accessorize Jess: Dress- Mango Shoes- ASOS Hat- Accessorize Necklace- I think you will agree that both outfits were so classy and sophisticated! | Outfit Details- Dress- Karen Millen Shoes- Christian Louboutin Hat- CHARITY SHOP! (aren't you impressed) Clutch- Heels Boutique Necklace- Swarovski Pashmina- Market All in all we had a fabulous day and although I am awful at betting and the weather was atrocious, I really enjoyed myself. We also met some new people who were so lovely and friendly, which made the day that bit better! Love Life, Emma xxx |
