Sorry guys, I realise that I am always catching up with myself as I have been so busy and don't get chance to tell you about all the fun things I have been up to.. and bought! A couple of weekends ago we were lucky enough to get VIP tickets to see Paul McCartney at the O2! Now although, he isn't quite so.. let's say hip.. now, I wasn't sure how he would be. We obviously couldn't pass on such a great opportunity to see a ledgend like Sir Paul, but I was a little apprehensive. I am relieved to tell you that he was not a disappointment. I didn't recognise all his songs but he is certainly a performer. He was on stage for 3 hours without a break and without even a drink. No costume changes and the only time he left the stage was close to the end when everyone cheered for him to come back on. It was very british and very old school rock and it was brilliant. Dave Grohl from Foo Fighters also came on to do a guitar solo with him, which was really good. |
Now.. what do you wear to a concert such as Paul McCartney, especially when you are going to a nice dinner beforehand (we went to Gaucho and it was amazing- best burgers EVER!). I was also travelling via train so walking, standing and waiting would be required! I went for this look (to the right if you are on a computer or underneath if you're on your phone) Top- Camilla and Marc (exact) Wrap- M&S (similar) Bag- Mulberry (similar) Watch- Michael Kors (exact) Trousers- Mint Velvet (similar) and for shoes I went fr my good old trusty 'Pixie Lott' pumps from asos, which I've had for years. |
