The weather is beautiful and I'm looking forward to a lovely family roast later!
The only downside, is this Sunday marks the end of my Easter holidays! I know poor me!
Yesterday, I had lovely girlie shopping day at Bicester Village!
I haven't been for ages and I was very excited at what bargains I might find, I was even more excited to find out that they now have a Wolford there!!!
I am going to Royal Ascot this year and my aim was to find a dress for this! I was lucky enough to find this in the second shop we went in- Karen Millen, it is really beautiful and elegant but I'm afraid you'll have to wait until Ascot for the big reveal! You know me and I know that you are thinking, 'how can Emma still afford to go shopping Mid-April..' Well I can't! I already treated myself too much this month with my shop in Guildford and in my new favourite shop, Icon Au (featured in the last blog) My mummy very kindly bought my Ascot dress for me as a little treat! I then owe her for a little bargain that was just made to be.. obviously this was found in Wolford and I must say that the service was incredible in there, I thought the outlet may be slightly different as you're paying a reduced price but I was definitely wrong. I picked up the 'Fabienne' black blazor, which would be amazing as a two-piece but unfortunately they didn't have the matching skirt. Anyway, this blazor was the last on the rail and when I looked, it was my size! I flung it on and at that my mum and her friend immediately said I HAD to get it, cue sales lady telling me all the right things! This black jacket also went really well with the outfit I was wearing, which made it more 'meant-to-be' To top it off, at the checkout the lady very kindly gave me a free make-up brush set, and they are beautiful! Outfit: Top- Camilla and Marc (from the Aus shop Icon Au) Trousers- Mint Velvet Sunglasses- Ray Ban Shoes- ASOS Watch- Michael Kors |
Now to stop for a spot of lunch and we picked the best place that I could not recommend more! SERIOUSLY.. This place was soooo good! Our waiter was one of the best, the food was insane and the wine was delicious- and to top it off, we got to eat outside in the sunshine! This restaurant was called Villandry Grand Cafe. If you are planning a trip to Bicester then you really should eat here, it got 5 stars from us. Now for the mummies turn and they taught me a thing or two.. Mum went to her favourite shop, Anne Fontaine and tried on LOTS & Pammy went everywhere to find the perfect purse! We also went to Dolce and Gabbana. Originally, only because I had just been to the ladies and my all-in-one body suit had not been done up properly and as I was walking along, my poppers suddenly.. POPPED! So I had to pop into a changing room to sort myself out, I wear a lot of body suits and this is one of there downsides! We stepped in and got majorly distracted by these bad-boys.. |
Luckily for my savings, she was mistaken and didn't have my size left.. These are beautiful, but this was probably for the best! Aren't they pretty though- let me know what you think of them.
After a very long day shopping, we stopped for a little tea break and then headed back to the car. Mum then spotted some sparkly Givincy shoes.. and after parading around the shop in then, very quietly just put them back.. PUT THEM BACK! She is definitely not related to me!
Anyway, after that shock, we headed back home with plenty of goodies between the three of us- a great day was had by all!
Love Life,
Emma xxx
