Those of you that are feeling a little overwhelmed by dressing for this weather and also struggling to get the right work/cool balance. I want to help.
As most of you know, I like boutiques and I like the more expensive ranges on the High Street. I like to wear things that I think will stand out in a sophisticated way but also that no one else will be wearing.
I love Topshop but that is why I don’t wear it anymore, EVERYONE loves it and therefore, everyone wears it!!
So if you have the cash to splash, then I would definitely go for brands on the high street like: Hobbs, Phase Eight, LK Bennett, Jaeger as they have loads of outfits that are perfect for work, keeping you looking smart, sophisticated and breezy!
If you don’t quite have that much cash to spend then I would always go and have a look in boutiques. Most of them don’t have websites to browse, so you do have to go in and have a look. I have actually just started to work in a boutique in Chobham, Betty and Claude, so I will keep you posted on some must have items that you won’t find anywhere else. I’m just helping out on Saturday’s and I had my first shift last Saturday. It was so much fun and I didn’t even feel like I was at work! I was looking at all the stock and they have things from casual wear to styling it out at work. The majority of their stock is perfect for social occasions but they have lots of things that can be teamed with other pieces to make the perfect work attire.
Now is actually the perfect time to buy your summer wardrobe as most things are now in the sale!!
