We decided it had been too long, so we planned a dinner followed by drinks. We went to the Gourmet Pizza Company in Southbank and it was a really lovely night! It has been so lovely to get back in contact with people that I haven't spoken to for years!! After all, they were my best friends. When you're at school, these people seem like your whole life. If you have a fall out, it seems like the worst thing in the world. Your 'group' is THE group and everyone else around you is just part of the story. It really was a special time (for me anyway), and I know that everyone says it.. but those days were the best- life is so straight forward and you don't appreciate it until you go out into the big world and have a lot of your comforts taken away from you.
Anyway, waffling on a bit now, the point I am making, is that you spent so much time with these people, shared so many FIRSTS and memories with these people.. and to all get back in contact has been really lovely. I now speak to these girls everyday and it feels just like it did when were at school (and I love it!)
Make-Up: I wore my Laura Mercier primer, which I am getting on really well with. I'm finding that I have to apply quite a lot, perhaps that is because my skin is dry.. but my make-up is lasting so much better. I get to the end of the night, and my skin is pretty much as it was when I left the house. Find out more in my 'Goodie Bag Favourites' blog.
