HI GUYS! Sorry it's been a while, I was very busy last weekend doing lots of celebrating, so unfortunately the blog has suffered.. however, this means I have lots to talk about- not that I need an excuse to ramble! I have been doing lots of eating out in the last two weeks and I want to give you a breakdown of the lovely places I visited! Wednesday 11th March- Jane's Upstairs For my birthday, we went out with all the family including my lovely grandparents- We visited my parents friend's restaurant called Jane's Upstairs in West Byfleet, I have been there before and it is very lovely. It's part of the 'Superfish' chain, so it is mainly fish. It's a small intimate rastaurant and the service was friendly and fast. For a meal out that doesn't cost the earth but tastes divine.. you should go here, she even makes all the gorgeous puddings that morning!!! | Top- Marc Cain Culottes- M&S Shoes- Brian Atwood |
Steak and Lobster Friday 13th March- Next up was the Steak and Lobster at the Radisson Blu hotel in Guildford, it's as easy as that.. Steak or Lobster.. No taking ages to decide what you want, somewhere I should really take my partner. If you have a big appetite then I probably wouldn't order the lobster, it was lovely but I could have eaten a couple, and I don't normally have a large appetite! On the plus you do get unlimited chips and salad and they are certainly not stingy with that! Once you are done with the food, you only have to walk about 2 feet and you're at the cocktail bar! Dress and Shoes- LK Bennett | Saturday 14th March- Kaspar's Seafood Bar & Grill Now.. you all know I like luxury and having a little taste of that lifestyle.. This was the ultimate treat! The most luxurious surroundings with food and service that is second to none. Mum and dad treated me to this gorgeous meal for my birthday. I got to wear my new birthday outfit and got treated superbly- I felt like a princess! Kaspar's is inside The Savoy and is one of the restaurants within. I have been to Gordon's Grill and I was so impressed that I wanted to try the other restaurant opposite to celebrate my birthday (now I just need to try the Afternoon Tea). Both of them did not disappoint and I would say it was the best service that I have ever experienced, so if you want to spoil someone special then this is the place. If you pre-book and pay for the Savoy Grill then it is actually really reasonable and you can get a meal for two for just £60. |
Sunday 15th March- Ponte Vecchio Mothering Sunday meant more eating out! We went to this lovely little Italian in West Byfleet. We went at the perfect time of 5.30pm because by the time we were leaving, the place was getting pretty packed. The service was extremely quick and the food was SOOO filling! By this point I felt like a stuffed turkey, I think you could have rolled me out the door! | Jumper and Skirt- M&S Mum's top is Wolford and her Necklace is Mont Blanc (not sure about the cardigan?!) |
Friday 20th March- Mikado's The last of my birthday celebrations was with my gorgeous girlfriends. We went to Mikado's in Ascot to celebrate mine and one of the other girls (whose birthday it is today- Happy Birthday Jess!) birthday's! It was a lovely night, where the girl-talk flowed and everyone looked beautiful. My friends from school and I have got back in touch and now we try and catch up once a month and it is so nice. It's like old times.. but better! Mikado's is Pan-Asian and the Katsu curry was delightful! Blazor- LK Bennett Top- Wolford Trousers- Reiss Shoes- Brian Atwood |
Until next time..
